Common Words Common words, such as of or as are indexed and searched.
Example : Book of job
Boolean Operators and - all terms must be found; narrows a search

Proximity Operators

near specified words or phrases are within 10 words of each other
Example : women near islam

within # specify the maximum number of words that may appear between the words or phrases
Example : decision within 3 theory

To retrieve records with the words or phrases in a particular order use
before first word or phrase entered comes first
Example : presidents before biography

after second work or phrase entered comes first
Example : edgar after poe
